Have you ever wanted to own a piece of a haunted location? Here is your chance to keep a piece of a historic and haunted destination with you.
Norwich State Hospital, located in Connecticut, opened in 1904 to treat individuals with mental illness, tuberculosis, and later, those deemed "criminally insane." The sprawling campus grew rapidly, reaching its peak in the mid-20th century with over 30 buildings and 3,000 patients. Treatments included hydrotherapy, electroconvulsive therapy, and lobotomies, reflecting the evolving psychiatric practices of the time.
By the 1970s, deinstitutionalization and changing mental health policies led to a decline in patient numbers. The hospital officially closed in 1996, leaving behind an abandoned site marked by reports of hauntings and urban exploration. Its legacy remains a blend of historical significance, tragedy, and mystery.
